Peripheral Angiography

A peripheral angiogram is an x-ray procedure used in the cardiac cath lab. A peripheral angiogram detects narrow or blocked peripheral arteries, the arteries in your legs. An x-ray solution is injected into an artery or arteries and an x-ray is used to capture images of blood flow through the arteries.
